Confidence to Create

At the beginning of this year I wrote my vision for 2021, I read it every day and it really helps to keep me motivated and gives me the courage to push myself. Two keywords for my professional vision are Visible and Skilful and with these always in my mind I have entered an exhibition and started to learn to create people but I wanted to push myself even further and combine the two words into one activity so I have joined the nJoyArtUK team as a watercolour tutor (very exciting!).

NJoyArt provides an online, fun and friendly environment with realtime tutor led sessions encouraging anyone to come along for 2 hours and have a wonderful creation at the end. I myself have joined many of the acrylic classes and they are great fun. The watercolour sessions I am now running are no exception and follow the original ethos of the nJoyArt founder Jan Taylor that anyone can create these images with the right support and information.

I have run my first session and I loved it. I got a real thrill from sharing my knowledge and skills and was in awe of everyone’s achievements. I can’t wait to run my next session and plan to do at least one a month.

If you are someone who has always wanted to paint something but don’t think you have the skills or lack the confidence (school quite often is to blame here) then throw your worries aside and come and join in the fun you will be so glad you did.
